For the CAKE ; ♥
2 cups of cake flour {not self-rising}
1 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup of finely grated lemon zest {zest-y}
2 sticks 1/2 pound of unsalted butter softened
2 cups gradulated sugar
6 large eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups whole milk
&&+1/4 cups fresh lemon juice
For the glaze:
1cup &+ 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
O1♥; put a rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 325. butter and flour the loaf pan and knock out any excess flour.
O2♥;whisk together flour, baking powder,salt,and zest in a bowl.
O3♥;beat together butter and g s in a large bowl with an electricmixer at medium speed untill pale and fluffy.2/3 min.
O4♥;beat in the eggs one at a time.
O5♥;then beat in the vanilla.
O6♥; reduce mixer speed to low and add flour mixture.
O7♥;then add the milk, &&+ lemon juice.
O8♥;spoon batter into the loaf pan and smooth top.
O9♥;bake until cake is golden brown and a wooden skewer can be inserted in center and comes of clean.45/50 min.
1O♥;cool cake :)

O1♥;whisk together the confectioner's sugar into the lemon juicy until smooth and thick.
